In the past couple of months I've ordered 4 x 5kg buckets of grit. I don't know if it's Covid-19 RELATED in regards to postal speed but I've received these orders in less than 4 working days which is unbelievable where I live (remote regional southern NSW). Thanks for the great service Aussie Sapphire and Australia Post (never thought I'd ever say that).

From first phone call, spoke to a male who was not polite nor helpful. Told me to make order on website then hung up. Would not recommend. Spent over 3000 last year and got a hard fast start motor on the cabbing machine, 1x misshaped 600# soft wheel from bad packing,(never regained shape). Pink cerium oxide contaminated, White cerium oxide contaminated. Wasted a lot of time, good opals and pads trying to figure out what was scratching at polish time. Can’t begin to tell you how frustrating that was. Poured out unused cerium onto clean white dish and found that both had tiny metallic bits throughout. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Have since purchased new pad and oxide elsewhere from the advise of lapidary clubs and other opal dealers and have had absolutely awesome results. I’m not one to complain when I get shafted, I simply do not do business again. But after having seen 5 star reviews on this company I just couldn’t control myself. Still upset to this day.

I went back and forth about buying some expensive equipment for about 3 years before purchasing! Aussie Sapphire was nothing but patient, and supportive and happily answered my questions year after year with informative and thorough responses. I can't say I would have had the patience to do that! Because of their wonderful advice I actually bought two pieces of equipment and I feel comfortable I have the right ones for my needs. Aussie Sapphire even steered me away from equipment that was far more expensive (almost double the cost) that I would have bought because they said it didn't suit my needs...you can always tell a quality company when they "down sell" you like that to make sure you have the right equipment rather than make a sale. I've purchased from them several times and have always been happy with their support and service.
