Ancient Greek city-states all had an ahgora or “meeting place” and Jan and Marek wanted to take that concept as the foundation for a restaurant that has at its heart a place to meet and share food and drink. Our restaurant is fully licensed.
Ahgora propose a large selection of traditional Greek and Mediterranean inspired dishes revisited with modern techniques acquired in fine dining restaurant.

Went there on a Saturday night for a family dinner. The ambiance is fantastic and really well presented. The food and menu for dinner are well appointed and plenty of options for vegetarians: we had the gnocchi and ravioli which were recommended and it was simply done to perfection. The slow cooked lamb was a tick to the Greek heritage. Wine selection is limited currently but you get what you need. Our server Martina was just super! I was impressed with her attentive nature, friendliness and service. We were not in a rush so the service was well paced. Overall would go back

The portions were sized in an odd way, but we were informed about it beforehand and were advised on what amount to order. The food was alright, the flavours were there but very mildly. Another point is that all was quite buttery/oily and quite a bit was sweeter than expected. Overall not bad but nothing great and probably a tad bit high for a price point.

Went here for my birthday dinner and the staff were so incredibly friendly and kind. They made changes to the menu especially for us and even brought us complimentary sorbet for my birthday! The food and romantic vibe was top notch as well. Highly recommend the haloumi ravioli.

Absolutely lovely place for breakfast or brunch, it's much bigger than it seems to be from outside. Pleasant interiors and professional staff members make you feel always welcomed. Coffee is superb and food is just fantastic! Definitely returning again!

AWESOME food wonderful service. The octopus with lentils was amazing. The lamb shoulder was tender and flavoursome. Will difinitely be going there again

We were here recently, just before Australia Day. The food was very nice, service friendly & professional. One downside... the dishes we wanted weren’t available, as the kitchen had run down the amount of food so it wasn’t stale after the holiday. This meant that for us, as vegetarians, there was one dish. Also, the lamb dish only arrived because we asked them an hour later where it was - they’d forgotten to put it on the order. The staff were apologetic & professional. We’d go again, but check right beforehand they actually have the dishes available.
