Best artwork and the staff incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The 300 year old tree. A real survivor and the building has been built around it.

Excellent collection of fossils, taxidermy, and interesting geological information on central Australia. Not sure if young kids would enjoy it, our 10 and 7 year olds really enjoyed it. Took about an hour. A fantastic collection of photos in the upper section is well worth the time to discover. Entry is free for NT residents.
A great little museum of geology and natural history. Plenty to see, without being an all day experience. This allowed time to have a good look at the exhibits and to read the information. Well worth a few hours if you are interested in this type of museum. Loved the meteorites!
Loved the Planetary Geology section about meteorites and craters in Oz. Other histories and fauna of the NT was interesting too. Easily recommended.
Very interesting place, tons of local knowledge and history
It was very enjoyable. The photo display on early central Australia was fascinating.
Although this museum is not large it is certainly packed with numerous interesting exhibits.. something for everyone I spent 2 hours there and saw everything, recommend for adults and kids alike
Smallish museum with interesting gallery and natural history of the region.
