Coming back to Get Shucked after 4 years. Have to say, their oysters are just as how we remembered. Fresh, crisp and great after taste. This has got to be one of Bruny Island's great highlight! However, because we visited on Easters Sunday, Get Shucked was overwhelmed with tonnes of enthusiastic visitors like us and as a result, they ran out of their hot food and they couldn't accommodate further customers onsite from 2pm which was a shame. Take away was available so we purchased & enjoyed it by the side overlooking fantastic views. Hope to enjoy you someday again Get Shucked. You guys are amazing!

We went with high expectations and oh WOW. Best oysters of our lives! Make sure you try out the drive through, I mean where else can you get drive through oysters? But we also ate in! The oysters are fresh as the day. You can see where they collect them out the front. They have information inside about what attributes a good oyster. They check the salinity of the water etc. They re very experienced and it shows. There are a few choices of flavour but we recommend getting the mix deal. It's a bargain! And you get to try everything. Staff friendly and it was a very well maintained place with quick service. Great experience all round and a must visit if on Bruny Island. Great spot for amazingly fresh oysters on Bruny Island. A dozen sets you back only about 20 - so worth it! It does get pretty packed and busy throughout the day but is well worth the wait.

My husband and I are traveling from Sydney, a Hobart local suggested we come here. We’re both not massive fans of oysters after a few bad experiences but we were keen to give this place a shot given the volume of good reviews. We started off with a mixed plate and OMG, the oysters were SO SO GOOD!! After having the mixed plate, we then got two plates of dozen oysters and couldn’t be happier! They were absolutely beautiful with nothing on or with a little bit of lemon on. Highly highly recommend this place, we’ve now been converted into oyster lovers and would absolutely come back to this place in a heartbeat!!!! ️

I read many raving reviews about Bruney Island Oysters and just had to try them. I luckily managed to buy (from the takeaway drive through window) a dozen fresh oyster for 20 just before closing time 5pm. I was so excited and even more excited when I saw how gorgeous and plump they were. Apparently the Oysters have been left in the water for a longer period than normal as there wasn't the need to harvest them early due to lack of tourists. I enjoyed every mouthful gobbling them all down wishing I had more. Plump, creamy deliciousness. Go and visit!!

First stop as soon as we landed in Tasmania. The oysters were lovely, very fresh and as great as the thousands of other reviews you'll see. We had a dozen of the natural with lemon and a dozen of the mix and a bowl of chips. There was no mains available at the time - a battered fish would've done us nicely. With seatings outside, you'll get the nice Bruny breeze. The best oysters we've had still are from Lease 65 which is off the island. I'd still recommend dropping by if you're in Tassie. Note that you'll need to catch a ferry down, the ferry ticket for the car cost us 38 which includes return.

Best place to eat oysters in Tasmania. I would visit once a month if time permits. Asian Fusion cooked oysters probably the best for those who doesn’t like eating it raw. Don’t hesitate to experiment on dressing these lovely Tasmanian gem! Delicious when naked, even better when they're dressed.

The freshest beautiful oysters i have ever had. Topped off with a crisp glass of Riesling. Simply sensational. Thoroughly recommend Get Shucked
