Its great to wonder along Gertrude St during the projection festival. It's not huge but it's quite interesting.
Fantastic week long community event showcasing established and emerging artists. As well as the projection art there’s also dance and music shows. Jaw dropping projections onto the Gertrude street flats.
Great visual experience on a cold Melbourne night
Interesting colection of street art. Finishes tomorrow (Sat 3rd Aug 2019) at midnight. Have to come back in 2020.
Went to the Projection Festival last night with a friend. Despite the drizzly weather, we had a great night. The projections were varied and interesting and we had the opportunity to chat with a couple of the artists. Ambling down trendy Gertrude St at night, seeing people dining in charming eateries and admiring lovely old buildings was very pleasant . It was not crowded and I thought the whole experience was better than White Night
Really enjoyed my visit to the Festival tonight. Great art and lovely vibe.
