Kelvin Green is an old school guy with old school ethics, this is how their small family owned/run business has stayed afloat for 40 years. Does a great job on anything they touch, nothing beats them ! Vintage steels/aluminium, NO PROBLEM for this genius. Best cast iron/bronze OXY welder in Australia. Went in to have a cover for rotary hoe welded , spoke to Kelvin the owner and said it would cost 10 dollars . Left part there to have welded .Returned to pay was told extra welding on cover was required and price was now 55.00 dollars . That was fair enough , went to pay by credit card to Kelvins wife the receptionist . I asked if I could have a tax receipt and she said price would now be 95.00 . I queried her and asked her why the 40 dollar increase in price , she said " I wasn't a regular customer and it would require extra work to process" . go.figure !!
