Institchu used to differentiate itself by providing decent clothes with a decent fit for a cheap price. Over the years prices have been inching up and now they're priced the same as everyone else. My reason for shopping here has disappeared and the clothes are OK but no better than any other tailor.

Loving the new suit and shirts that are a perfect fit. Did I mention the old world ambience and charm of the shop? Gentlemen for made to measure that is modern and stylish this is your spot. For suits and shirts the tailors are knowledgeable and know how to cut the suit to fit your body type be buffed from the gym or enjoying the good things in life.

We went to George & King for our wedding suit. My partner wanted a very specific green (fussy). The selection of fabric they had was great. He went for a slim, one button. Everything came back perfect, working in fashion I was quite particular that it went with my dress. The staff met with us and went through the style of our wedding, my dress (in secret) and aided us in designing the perfect outfit. The suit was great, the staff knowledgeable, the price on point. Thank you for creating a suit for him that was as special as my dress. He loved the experience (and the beers) Thank you.

My experience at George and King: I recently decided to treat myself to a new George and King tailored suit. Going in, I had an idea for a double breasted suit but aside from that I had no idea about what I wanted. What I left with was easily one of the coolest suits ever. The showroom manager was super helpful and accurate with her suggestions and recommendations. This was super helpful, as the amazing selection off material George and King offer made it very tough to choose. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the final product was better than expected. Can't recommend George and King Highly enough.

I recently bought two new sets of trousers from these guys after having purchased a suit on a previous occasion. They were able to make new trousers which matched the colour and style of a separate suit jacket I already owned. The quality is fantastic, the experience is hassle-free and the price point is highly competitive. You are much better off getting a custom suit from these guys as opposed to tailoring one off the track - it will end up being cheaper and of a higher quality. No qualms in recommending George & King and I will be back.

My first experience with G&K was when my groomsmen & I had our suits tailored for my wedding. I was based in Sydney and my 5 groomsmen were in Perth, but all suits came out exactly as required even though they were organised by different stores. The entire process is seamless from start to finish. Perfect. Their tailored shirts are exceptional value for money, and their website makes ordering a breeze. Highly recommended!

Given my wedding as a perfect excuse, I chose to try MTM suiting for the first time. I was very impressed by G&K, after doing extensive online research. Total time was about 6 or 7 weeks, including some adjustments after the second fitting. I visited the Sydney showroom on George St, and was treated really well by all the staff I dealt with. From being offered a drink, to having someone assist me through picking fabric and lining options, it was an excellent experience. When I went in for the second fitting, the suit was mostly fine, and only needed a few minor alterations. The tailor also kindly stitched silk in to the saddle of the pants, something I recommend everyone consider when getting a new suit, as it extends the life of the pants significantly. G&K did this at no extra cost. I was especially impressed as, towards the end of my first visit, a young man in a wheelchair was brought in by his mother, in preparation for his school formal. The young woman who helped him did so professionally and with warmth. From what I saw of their interaction, he was going to end up looking great, and feeling it too. Thanks G&K, for a great experience. I'll be back.

It was an absolute amazing experience. Nickolas assisted me with every detail within the makings of a suit. There are countless fabrics, patterns and styles to choose from! Not only did he provide me with outstanding customer service as a sales assistant, but the experience was more like suit shopping with a friend. He made me feel extremely comfortable and he was very accomodating to my needs. George & King are definitely the place to shop for bespoke tailored suits.
