Went in for a quote on replacing a radiator. Owner was very pushy to book the work in, and only provided a rough verbal price. Before dropping the vehicle off, I had asked for the thermostat to be replaced and a service to be done. While the vehicle was being worked on. These two minor extra things I had asked, turned out to make the invoice almost double what I had been verbally quoted. The work was carried out without notifying me of the substantial extra cost. And the owner was not willing to negotiate the unreasonable ammont, the invoice was final. You may have made an extra few hundred on me here, but in the long run this will cost you alot more.
