As a beginner snowboarder who has never touched snow - I think the team at Vertikal are great. From the first day as a walk-in who knew nothing, and asked for a single lesson, I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. A few weeks on, I am now a paying member, doing regular weekly lessons with Harrison. He is a fantastic teacher, very knowledgeable, and his energy is infectious. I am learning heaps here, in both developing basic ability and refining my technique. Vertikal is helping me become snow-ready for this season. I look forward to continuing with these guys until the snow starts falling - and to come back after, to maintain and improve my skill level. All the staff are friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere at Vertikal is really amazing. The Pizzas are an absolute winner. My Partner and I enjoy spending time here after my lessons when we can. 0 complaints from me. Great team, great lessons and great food. Makes for a great time.

Outstanding for all ages and for families We are locals who had family from Cairns & Griffith visiting with both very young & teenage children & the staff, set-up and variety of things to do were excellent! One of the kids has ASD, the staff were as brilliant with him as with all of us. We only planned a quick visit but ended up staying all afternoon - well done Vertikal staff! (every staff member acts and helps showing they love what they do, and working here!)

Thanks to Charlotte and the team at Vertikal for hosting a fun birthday party. Pizzas were amazing. I highly recommend the pumpkin and Gorgonzola. The kids enjoyed the boarding lesson, everyone played some pool and darts. A great time was had by all. The fireplace and couches make a nice cozy place to sit and chat.

I have had honour of learning from two instructors now and both of them have taught me great skills. A great place to chill and hang out even if you are not learning a skill. This place has a pool table, a bar and cafe all in one :). So, go on, hone your snow sports (skiiing, snowboarding) skills and chill :) Highly recommended.

I actually found this place through a group when I did my first lesson along with them. It was so safe and nice that I had visit again and will be visiting again to build on my skill. The moving platform concept is so brilliant, it is like a giant treadmill where instead of running, you are skiing. Very safe and controlled, I just love learning here and the fact how quickly I have learnt to balance myself and adopt ski plough posture to stop. The instructor, Harry's instructions are so well structured and he is very encouraging as well. I will be visiting this place again and it is highly recommended also for its drinks and food :). Even if you are not skiing, just have a drink and munch on something. It is a cool place to hang out with a few pool tables.

Great place to try something skiing for the first time! Personal instructors who explain everything in the most understandable way possible even for beginners! Thanks to Rachel, and if we’re ever back in Canberra we’re sure to come back and would highly recommend anybody come here if they’re ever in the area :)
