Lemons.... the name certainly describes the service! Picked flooring and got a measure mid to late Jan. Still no quote or contact made with us as at 6 March despite an email request 12 Feb asking for the quote and contact. Overall lack of communication, sales person couldn't answer all my questions and sales people appeared lack lustre and bored. A complete waste of time. Will not be recommending. We picked flooring from a competitor who was friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a quote within two days. We accepted. Bam! Bye bye lemons! Customers should not have to chase YOU. Go to nulay... they are amazing!

The wood floors to my apartment were replaced last week. I was advised by Lemon’s they would move the furniture off the areas they were working in and would place these items back once the job was done. I arrived back home to find all the furniture cramped into the two bedrooms (carpeted areas) as well as dust and large chunks of off cuts everywhere. The hallway cupboards were open and there was dust all through my belongings. There was also large chunks of off cuts/dust on expensive velvet lounge. The floors I had before were pale in colour with a smooth gloss finish. I was told the floors going in would match but they are in fact much darker and a different wood finish all together. There is also huge scratches all through the new flooring (which I’ve photographed) and where they have replaced the skirting, the edges don’t match up (which I have also photographed). I’ve taken photos as a record of all the above mentioned issues. It took myself and a friend over 3 hours to complete the clean up of the enormous careless mess left. The installers were also smoking in my smoke free apartment when we went to collect the keys, which is also against our body corporate rules. Other than that the admin team were frustrating to deal with at times, communications incorrect re start time, we had to leave the installers the keys for the entirety of the time (which was not what I was advised by the office beforehand).

The name of the company say's it all. If you want a lemon hire Lemon Carpets. I had new carpet layed approximately 2 1/2yrs ago now. Very poorly layed. I endevoured to have the problems fixed through management with no avail. I now live with that very poorly laid carpet every day and will now need to for a very long time. No care of customer service or for the product they sell.

On the back of successful engagement to floor our renovation/extension, we chose Lemons to supply blinds as well. Regrettably the following experience could not have been more different. Originally we’d been told to expect the blinds in a month. Lemons said, because we were ‘valued customers’, they contact the manufacturer and get us to the front of the line. After a month, I began to reach out to Lemons thinking the blinds should be close, as our construction also was drawing to a close. After a number of unreturned calls and promises to follow it up, Lemons finally received confirmation the blinds were only now (a month late and at the time of promised delivery) being manufactured. From here it did improve. After many frustrating called to fight for status updates and expected delivery dates, it was another month before they were installed. I had been told at one point (sarcastically) ‘they’ll be here before Christmas, just can’t well you which one’. Additionally the blinds weren’t mounted on the windows as ordered. If I’d been told from the outset it would be 2 months, fine... expectations managed. The problem was the lack of communication, promises not kept, unprofessionalism and the complete lack of control of their manufacturing process. And at the end, it was succeeded to me they’d (Lemons) had somehow looked after us. My recommendation; try the other guys!

Great service from start to finish. Walked in on a Saturday and carpet laid 5 days later. Steve came out to measure and quote...friendly old fashioned service, quick, on time and very professional. Quote emailed promptly and the price was excellent. Brad, who laid the carpet was very friendly, quick and did a great job...even locked up the place after finishing , again great service from beginning to end. These guys know their trade and you get a family owned vibe when dealing with them. Thanks again

Good service. Unhappy because they changed the quote later by saying it was estimated price when job was passed to builder after selection. I have seen the invoice so it wasn't builder's margin.
