I love the classes, they are fun and interactive. The Teachers are great and really cover all platforms for learning. We go through relevant dialogues. The phonetics and origins are explained which helps understands so many aspects of the language as opposed to just memorizing the words. We have the literature and audios with the classes which helps students absorb the language with the methods that works for them. I will definitely be continuing to semester 2. For those really wanting to learn French, this is highly recommended and its good value for money.

Completed French beginner course 1 and already signed up for beginner course 2. After a couple of research done and the decision to learn French in this French centre is right! I love how the class is setup, European kind of environment, the classmates and the teacher (Giacomo). Giacomo has an interesting character when come to teaching, it’s like learning French with an artist. I’m not just learning French but also the history of why or how the language is develop... that’s how Giacomo runs his lesson. I highly recommend anyone who would like to learn new language in this centre. It’s just 8 lessons to start with which is great. For me it’s like to try out first instead of committing to a 16 lessons course.
Just completed the Beginners 1 course and I must say was very impressed with a) the format of the classes b) how quickly the 2.5 hour sessions go by 3) how by learning simple interactions was able to gain an understanding of the french language (i.e. conjugation, pronunciation, etc). While only just beginning on the journey to learn French this was a great start. Have already signed up for the second course!!! The classes are extremely informal and in a relaxed environment. The course attendees were extremely diverse in why they were there to learn as well as people in the class. The instructor is easy going and really encourages people to speak French even if they aren't comfortable with it. Would highly recommend the course to
I recently completed the Beginners 1 course. The classes are very engaging and manage to cover a lot of content in an accessible way. The small class size also really helped with learning. I really enjoyed the class and would definitely recommend!
I had the pleasure to learn from the French centre a while back, Giacomo is very animated and welcoming. Our teacher Julia was very good as well. The approach is very different from other French schools in Sydney they will get speaking French from day one, and it is a lesson you will never forget. Great atmosphere for beginners and for those who studied french as a HSC and want to casually come back.
My personal litmus test of an enjoyable and productive experience is that the 2.5 hour classes seem to fly past, as do the 8 weeks the course goes for. I walk out of the Beginners 1 course wanting to learn more. That's the sign of a great school!
After travelling to Paris, I wanted to learn French. When I came back to Sydney, I wasn't sure which school to sign up to. However, I feel so lucky having chosen this school and the value it has provided me merely from the beginner 1 course! I've enjoyed the experience and am pleased with my progress so much that I've enrolled into the beginner 2 course as well. All the teachers are enthusiastic and display a keen interest in each student's learning. The classes are highly interactive and there is also plenty of material provided to practice after class as well. It has been a joy and pleasure learning at this centre and I highly recommend joining for a valuable learning experience! :)
I've just completed Beginner Course 1 and I can't wait for Beginner 2 next year. The course caters to all learning types, using verbal, visual, social and aural techniques in an energetic small-class setting. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an excellent introduction to French.
