Very busy and interesting. Lots to see. Couple of doors down from the market is a lovely lady who makes so adorable woolly socks and hats... Mostly for the babies. Just had to buy from her :)

Fremantle a markets is the best part of Freo hands down. A little bit of everything and a lot of culture. Some stalls have been there for as long as I can remember but there’s new stores every now and then, particularly in the food section. Probably the best “food court” as far as variety goes.

This market is definitely worth paying a visit if you are a tourist. Very vintage and nice choice of unique souvenirs you can take back home. Also can't complain with the food options/market. As a gluten free Vegan, I absolutely love the raw raw raw stall.

A great place to explore with an excellent variety of products including food stalls and fresh fruits and vegetables. Something for everyone

We enjoyed the changes in the few shops and new establishments, as we hadn't visited for a few years. However we found our beloved markets and streets of Fremantle to be extremely grotty, the paving a mess with gunk and food scraps and the smell of urine on every corner. I really hope the city of Fremantle can start being more proactive about cleaning up and and attending to these details, as the scenery doesn't quite match the upmarket expectations, with many shops being empty from what I can only guess is due to massively high rental prices. Please high pressure hose the streets, the alley ways especially. P.s I held on to my empty coffee cup for an hour as there were barely any bins! The bin I did find was broken and vandalized too.
