Just visited Found in France & purchased a few items including these two chairs which Gavin & Scott are arranging a linen fabric for. The store is beautiful! The guys are very helpful & I highly recommend Found in France to anyone looking for beautiful vintage items.. I look forward to many more purchases in the future. Dean & Roger

This store is fantastic. I have bought many pieces from here now. The owners Scott and Gavin are so friendly, helpful and have exceptional taste. They go to France and beyond regularly and bring back things you are not going to find anywhere else. And contrary to the one review that says things are expensive, ah… what?? This store is very reasonably priced, considering most items are in excellent condition, usually at least a hundred years old, and are hand-picked then brought over from the other side of the world. And I don’t’ know what Gumtree that person is looking on, but it must be in an alternative universe because antiques of this quality are normally much more expensive than the ones you’ll find here. If I could find these pieces on Gumtree for half the price, I’d start up my own store. I bought five items this month (including a huge mirror with a frame hundreds of years old) and had them sent interstate. They were so thoroughly packed by the owners and couriered by transporters who understand these objects are irreplaceable. Gavin even helped me get something else included in the shipping from another store. This was so incredibly kind of him to go out of his way to do that. If you want high quality pieces that are one offs and beautifully pre loved, this is the one store I would highly recommend.
I am in a different State, so my shopping reflects two online purchases. I found the owners very helpful indeed. Their packaging ensured my items arrived safely and in good time. Highly recommended.
I found it in Spain Not accurate
Popped into this place and straight away realised how Overly Priced everything was. Big time (& I mean BIG TIME) mark ups... Their bric a brac was quite ordinary & Kitsch. Their paintings are worthless and most have some damage or have been patched up. One or two of the larger furniture were nice but I've bought the same (yes French made)- at Less than Half the price from Gumtree. Absolutely no value here!
A wonderful range of carefully chosen antiques from France. Everything from stunning tables and chairs, through to a small spotted blue and white ceramic jug and everything in between. I did a big percentage of my Christmas shopping last year in this beautiful shop and the owners, Scott and Gavin, have helped me solve many other gift purchases throughout the year. A number of gorgeous items have also found their way to my home! A must visit and well worth a trip to the Inner West.

This is a great little place, a gem. The guys there are really helpful and knowledgeable about their furniture and other items. I got myself an awesome set of vintage skittles that I'm really really happy with. I just wanted to suggest this place to others. I'll definitely be going back.
