I was shopping for a new bed during Covid stage 4 lockdown went to a few bedding stores and no one could organise a bed for me earlier than Jan 2021 My mum and l went to Forty winks Geelong and not only did l find a high quality Australian made bed , the staff made phone calls and organised on for me to arrive in 4-5 weeks and they did not dissapoint. I got a great price for a quality bed frame and delivered right to my door. Now mum wants a new bed. Thank you to Lee and his staff very professional.

Awful service, the worst I’ve experienced ever. Have recently been trying to buy more locally from a “store with a door” the issue is this experience was so bad I am inclined to return to online shopping. Rude, unhelpful, uninformed and there wasn’t even any other customers in the store!

I purchased a King and Queen bed from here, when purchasing i was informed 1-4 weeks waiting time. It was an important factor. COVID was active at the time so restrictions have not hanged, infact they are better now. It's now 9 weeks and ive had to call twice for an update. I along with my husband and daughter are all sleeping on the ground as we moved to a new home. Given the wait time we were happy to wait 4 weeks, even 5. I've called again today and left a message but still no responce. Customer service is appauling, if i were to treat my customers this way Id lose my job. I do not reccomend Forty Winks Geelong and am asking for a full refund as other brands have stock available that they can guarantee in 1 week delivered. Trying to support the local community but get no support back!!

Went there just about a week ago and have still been thinking about how uncomfortable and unwanted I felt. When I visited there was no welcome or friendly service to be seen. I was approached by an unhappy staff member who lead me over to some beds after opening with a "what do you want?" She placed down the pillow cover on the first bed and told me to lay on it. I thought that she would let me breathe for a second but I would be wrong. She proceeded to stare at me and say nothing while I tired the bed. Leading me to the next bed she just threw the pillow cover into my arms and said "you can do it" and proceeded to stare as I tried the second and third bed saying absolutly nothing other than "we had a sale on Saturday but you missed it, so the bed would have been cheaper had you turned up earlier" as her one and only proper sentace to me. She did not smile. Her tone stayed monotone and uncomfortably agressive seemingly about the fact I was there. She acted like I had truly bothered her by turning up. Was planning to buy a matress for 1500 and the sale was lost by the fact I did not want to give my money to someone who was so rude, agressive and did not stop staring at me the entire time I was in the store. Don't go here unless you want to be stared at the whole time. I don't think i can stomach ever going back here, have never felt so uncomfortable in a store in my life. Was told to 'hury up' and get my order in now otherwise I would have to wait, the entire thing was like something I have never experienced. Saw another review calling this place 'the tomb' too freaking right

Dealt with Leigh the owner at Geelong. Got me three king ensembles delivered in 4 days. No BS, on time delivery drivers and high quality products. Highly recommend for people who hate time wasters.

Made picking a mattress a rather easy process. Staff were friendly and informative on both visits. Provided advice that cost them more in sales but were upfront and honest. The bed match system is really helpful and accurate.
