Blue Mountains National Park, Australia
Mount Hay Rd
N/A
Is this Blue Mountains' best kept secret? How is this hike not more popular? The Fortress Ridge Trail is a 3.5km hike from this carpark, leading you through undulating landscape to end up at the lookout. The views are absolutely stunning, I could have sat here for hours looking into the Grose Valley. As mentioned before, the parking area is quite small, though when I was there it fitted about 4-5 cars comfortably. Mount Hay Road is a b*tch to get through, but if I can make it in a little Toyota then so can you.

More am overnight camping area but nothing special. Just a place to park whilst bushwalking
Fortress Ridge trail is beautiful and scenic. Plenty of awesome views. This would be my second favorite hike. The car park itself is tiny.
The lookout is insane
Good spot for taking a hike.
