Great place if you have a couple of ours spare. Worth a look. Some say they actually fire the cannons on some days but that didn't happen today. Think there was a free tour going around also. Little museum there too. It's only open Sundays 10-4pm though just FYI.

A very interesting place. Make sure you leave a donation as the guys there are volunteers. They know their stuff and bring history to life.

Had a wonderful afternoon here after visiting the Maritime Museum. I would recommend to get there earlier or check website as we got there too late to do any guided tours. Whilst we missed the guided tour we did get to look around at own pace, and found it really interesting piece of Brisbanes history.

Lovely piece of Brisbane's History. Really enjoyed walking through all the bunkers and seeing all the guns and cannons . Some areas not wheelchair friendly but most is accessible. Lovely spot right on the Brisbane river.

Very good place to have some time with family or friends and knowing anything more about the Australia on World War II. Easy access and friendly volunteer staff. It has car parking and toilets.
