The service 10pm-6am Melbourne to Canberra is not as ideal as you'd think. They require you to have a pit stop and make you get off the bus in between the hours of 2-3am for 30mins. It leaves you exhausted because you sleep only a few hours before. I'd like this to be reviewed or changed for the comfort of the passengers.

Outstanding service, I left me phone on the coach yesterday & I phoned, the customer service team were great & quick & the driver returned to the drop off & dropped my phone back to me. Just awesome!
I used Murrays to do transfers to and from a festival on the weekend. We were extremely well behaved and there was no damage or mess left on the bus once we were done. Half of my bond was taken however due to reasons I was not informed of at the time. So a few tips to those who plan on using this service in the future - PLEASE DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK. 1. The time that you list for the bus to arrive is NOT the time the bus will arrive but it is the time the bus will expect to depart to make it to the destination - so make sure you're there 30mins prior to allow for passengers to load their equipment onto the bus. 2. DO NOT take a break during your drive unless you have explicitly stated you will be when you make the booking - we asked during the drive if we were able to stop in a town for a break during the trip and were informed it was fine with no warning that this would result in additional cost. 3. Check the time that Murray's have allowed for the travel, in our case they gave us 3hrs each way and that is the amount of time Google Maps allows for a car to drive that route - they didn't account for the extra traffic that would be around the regional towns we were approaching due to the major public event we were attending. All of this resulted in money out of my pocket for trying to help my friends have an enjoyable festival experience. Make sure you dot all your I's and cross all your T's because for novices booking trips for their friends there are a lot of traps associated with this company. I have booked with 2 other companies previous to this and have NEVER had things like this occur. So be warned!
i am a tour guide in Melbourne. Not the first time I call Murrays to reconfirm a job with tourists and a rude lady answers the phone as if I am asking her a favor. Today she asked for confirmation number, i gave it, she still wanted something else, not happy with the company's given number and impatient hung up on me! Great service! I would not want her as my housemaid!!!
