Extremely rude staff. I was treated with respect back in early 2020, but now (Jan 2021), counter staff have become rude and impatient. There should be regulations surrounding how people are treated at this branch.

Visited this before and was attended by a very nice lady. Returning a second time to submit some forms, I was attended to by a rather unpleasant man who wouldn't let me complete my sentences let alone bother to understand why I was standing before him in the first place. One can't help but feel cheated of time and being led in circles. Apparently Medicare is no longer serviced by physical service centres
I just recent came to the office with my wife try to apply for her the CRN and been told by lady receptionist that we have to go to the phone boot provided to apply by ourself. While we on the phone with the call centres staff i seen 5-6 of staff at their desk doing absolutely FUNCULO. Play on their mobile phone, see being watch then stand up walk away to other staff member to chit chat. The gov should shut down this office....
To the staff at Centrelink Footscray...I salute you! I am a currently unemployed hospitality worker that attended your venue this morning to be met by quite a large queue. The line quickly moved but then the wait began. Due to social distancing the manager stopped anyone else entering the building as to protect the ones inside. The line went around the block. I can't imagine how crazy it could have gotten if not managed this way. The poor staff copped a lot of flack from those waiting. Patience is not practised by a lot of people. Centrelink Footscray, thank-you for being patient today and good luck with the days ahead. To those needing to attend Centrelink, be mindful of the staff and their mental states right now. We are all in this together! And hospo staff going in.....Show them why we are hospitality and why Melbourne is the hospitality capital.
The Asian lady was too rude and arrogant, she didn't even listen our problem carefully and couldn't solve my problem , unfortunately i met this lady second time , i will put her name once i go there again, she act like she is given her own money to us, No comment for other staff, they're all perfect, i wish i never see that Asian women again,
Well, I read all of the negative reviews of Centrelink Footscray and I have to say my fiancée and my experience was totally the opposite - very positive. We have had no contact with government and certainly not Centrelink in the past, so we were pretty clueless when it came to applying for paid parental leave. However, everyone we dealt with was friendly, professional and informative. Service was prompt and efficient. Assistance in us accessing the MyGov application and linking Centrelink to our profile on that system was terrific. A well earned five stars - thanks so much guys!
