I have used Followmont for many years originally with a company I used to work for. Now I use them occasionally for myself and have never had a problem with them. I have found them to be very competitive with their freight costs and their service is excellent.
Unfortunately from my experience, I would advise not doing any business with Followmont. I organised and paid for boxes to be delivered from NQ to down south. They quickly sent order details and processed the order but never came to pick it up. I have tried calling and emailing multiple times but they are very unresponsive. After weeks of trying it has been impossible to get a refund. If anyone from the Followmont team sees this message I would obviously love for someone to get in touch. Thanks!
Banana and fruit cold storage cannot sustain the amount of fruit left out on docks getting hot and damaged. Trucks fridges are constantly breaking down. With freight inside. Haccp not being followed. Maintenance and cleanliness needs work. Driver fatigue management is non existant. Very expensive. Better to utilize Blenners for your produce freight as it will always be delivered fresh and on time.
Disappointed. Rang and received a quote a month. Then when to book in this week and the quote went up over 150 as they accidentally gave us the wrong price. We gave them the correct size and weight then when they came to pick it up they wanted more money as there were 2 items which no one asked us about as we gave them the correct sizing. I feel we were ripped off.
Quoted 380 for a consignment. Weight and dimensions were accurate. Subsequently charged 634. Not the first time this has happened. What value is a quote when you completely disregard it? Ripped Off.
