Fantastic experience with these guys today. I paid for my partner and I to go on a joy flight to the Gold Coast and back. They were extremely professional, informative and the price was more than fair for the level of service we got. I highly recommend anyone looking for an out of the box gift idea to give these guys a call. My partner said it's the best bday gift she has ever had.

Very professional and friendly company. I am learning to fly with them at the moment (RPL, then PPL) and I am really happy to recommend this company: Huge amounts of knowledge and much of it picked up just in conversation from very experienced instructors in an informal manner. However attention to detail is always there and high standards are taught. Hours can be fitted in to suit: all day sessions with a several flights are what I like best as you get a real feel for aviation at a busy airport. Or you can just do an hour or two to suit. You pick the rate at which you learn. I tried three other flying schools and felt at home with Southern Skies and I definitely made the right choice.
