Looked beautiful with grassy shady spots however told on arrival that it was closed due to Covid. We have an almost self sufficient camper, without toilet, but because we didn’t have a caravan we were unable to stay. They have a toilet which is open for use, but without a ‘typical caravan’ you are unable to stay. Made no sense to us, but we found a much more pleasant council beachfront camp for 12.50, at Carmila just down the road, that we would highly recommend.

Absolutely loved this place. Used to be a Queenland country school which closed down due to luck of kids. The State Government/local Council/Shire then turned it over to the locals for a Community Centre and the Community have turned the two or three acres into a beautifully manicured camping area for 10 A day. There is potable water at taps scattered around the camp area but no electricity. You can use generators. There is also toilets and hot and cold showers available. The area is located one kilometre from the Bruce Highway on a bitumen road, so the highway noise is not an issue. The camp host is happy and friendly and willing to help. He comes around every afternoon about 4.30 pm to collect fees. If you decide to go to this camp, please stop at the Stop Sign and wait until he comes and greets you. He doesn't like you to drive in and around the park until he does his greeting. Most highly recommended.
The pool is lovely on a hot day especially when you can't swim in the surf with stingers. The caretaker always keeps the pool lovely and clean.

Beautiful low cost camp. Caretakers are lovely and very helpful. Loads of room. Not too busy. Quiet surrounds. Need own power and water however showers and toilets are available. Highly recommended.
Great place for a quiet stay. The grounds are immaculate a credit to the caretaker's. Pool was cool.
Great place to chill. Lovely caretaker. Plenty of shade and grass. Your van must be self contained, although there is a toilet.No power. Plenty of water but not drinkable.
Omg !!! The Food at the Flaggy rock cafe , home made food here is delicious. Nice friendly staff too. A
