I’m super thankful to call myself a student at joes boxing. This place has everything you need to become a boxer. Joe has a brain full of knowledge inside and outside of the ring. I came to this gym alone and I’m still training here but with heaps more knowledge, discipline and confidence. I have met some of my best mates here and Joe has become one of the closest friends. Just like everything the more you put into something the more your gonna get out of it. Thanks for being you Joe!

I have been coming here for the whole year and man did i learn a thing or two. Joe's Boxing has been a great place for me to improve my fitness and confidence. Along the way i have made some friends and felt very welcome into what feels like a community. When i started i told myself i was only going to train here for a year. There is no way i can see myself stopping now. I have seen some of the other reviews on here saying Joe is harsh and does not care. This is not true. He is very passionate however and as long as you listen and follow instructions you will keep yourself out of hot water. The trainers there are fantastic and the classes are not repetitive so you wont get bored. Joe, Steph, Ethan, Si and Pablo are all amazing coaches. If you are game give it ago, you won't regret it.

The owner seemed to know what he was talking about and the training was slightly above average. Learnt some new stuff but didn't feel like the owner cared that much (maybe its part of the charm). A nice place to train but the working area itself is very poor and not for everyone. Decent prices though.

I've very lucky to have been and continue to be a part of this amazing gym which has become like a second home to me. I've been a student here for over 4 years now and in that time have moved from a complete novice with no martial arts training to an active competitor who has shared the ring in training and competition with state and national champions. Not only have I been introduced to boxing and martial arts that will continue to be a continual passion in my life but I have also been lucky enough to meet some life-long mates, a testament to the collegiality fostered at Joe's. Joe does an amazing job of making all comers welcome regardless of gender, age, fitness goals or an aspiration to compete. Ultimately it is a place that you get out what you put in and everyone that comes with an open mind and willingness to learn I have no doubt will love being a part of the gym.

I've been coming to Joe's off and on for years. All the classes give you variety and allow you to develop at your own pace. You'll always get a good workout if you listen and do the work. I cannot recommenced Joe's Boxing highly enough.

Fate brought me through the door to Joe’s at the beginning of Jan 2013 and over 5yrs later, I’m still here. What has it given me? What hasn’t it. True skills in the art of boxing, a sport that I love, vast improvements to my overall level of both physical and mental health, self-confidence, improved levels of concentration and awareness, a sense of community and belonging, but most of all true and lasting friendships that I cherish and value. I can’t speak highly enough of Joe’s Boxing. Come in and see for yourself, but remember to leave your ego at the front door. It’s the only thing not welcome!

Been going to Joe's for years now and is my favourite place to train. To anybody reading this review and thinking of joining, the only thing I advise is that 'you get out what you put into it'. If you listen to instructions, keep practicing and just be friendly then you will get in shape and learn a incredible skill.

Worse boxing gym in the country, Joined to improve my skills but after a period of time ZERO result. Its obvious the more mature students are their to pay for gym to run. Same old same old skip for 3x 3 minutes instructor watches tv in his office. Once completed another set of shadow boxing with weights. Instructor back in his office. Then a couple more drills back in his office. Cool down good bye. Waste of money and expensive for what its worth. The instructor should be on the floor improving his students skill. If he see's a wrong technique he should correct it for you.Wrong he will show you once then its too hard he just walks away as if to say I am not wasting my time with you. He might know his boxing and understand it well but to teach it FORGET it. As you can see his results of his students. Don't waste your time there are better options out there. Extremely lazy teacher
