WOW!!! The atmosphere of this place is awesome. Love the set menu. All meals are plant-based and the flavours are unbelievable. Cannot wait to visit again.

My partner took me to Transformers for din dins. This is a vegetarian restuarant in the heart of Fitzy. The service.was excellent, so attentive, pleasant, amd welcoming. And the food, delicious. We shared a Feed me menu, which was gluten free and almost vegan. Everything was just lovely. We had lots of dishes, too numerous to mention, and I can't remember them all lol. I've attached a copy of the menu, which included starters,, mains and dessert was separately priced. That was ok as I had other plans for dessert. One great thing was that i didn't walk away too full, and I really enjoyed the smaller dishes. This place is definitely worth a visit.
Went for dinner with some friends in April. We were served the same dishes we had when we went in January. It's a shame that the menu isn't updated more regularly as there's not much point in going back. Especially as there is only a feed me menu so you can't choose what you order. We also had about 5 different wait staff serve us. One of them had tude when we asked if they did doggy bags/takeaway. She told us they don't do takeaway despite there being a big neon sign on their front window saying online orders and takeaway available. We had so much food leftover that all went in the bin. The same staff member tried to be super friendly to us when we went to pay so we would tip. If you want people to tip maybe only have 1 or 2 waiters serve per group.
I was excited to try this restaurant as I’d heard great things. I liked the food overall but it took forever to come out. Drinks were average. Our waiter also left a lot to be desired. I probably wouldn’t go back again but worth a try if you haven’t been before.
Outstanding! Was fortunate enough to dine here for my second time last night. Having booked a table for five for my friend's birthday I was excited to show them how great it is and it did not disappoint. We ordered the chefs selection and were treated to a vibrant, exciting, well timed and extremely delicious feast. Amongst that their signature transformer gin and tonic which was an excellent touch. The service was inviting and courteous; and the setting is warm and cosy. Can't ask for more. (There was a slight mix up with the dessert option which we'd ordered initially as a part of the chefs selection; it meant we were given menus at dessert time and ordered our preferred dessert; but were then told again some ten minutes later that that wasn't the one that would be on offer as the set price. Upon ourselves we decided to stick with our guns and have our choices (coincidentally not the chefs selection) but were asked to pay the difference at checkout. Was worth it but feel that it could have been communicated better is all)
I really wanted to love Transformer, having waited a couple of years for the right opportunity to go, however none of the stars seemed to align on the night of our visit. The "Feed me" option had me excited to try all day but unfortunately it didn't come through as expected. It was very tasty in parts but otherwise quite underwhelming; quite small portions and very pricey to boot. The service too was partially friendly but for the most part slow and I couldn't really gage the wine list based on the discussion with our waiter. In fairness, it might have been a bad night for the team so I will return to try the regular menu at some point. If however, you're on a date and after some sultry decor and not looking to get full but don't mind splashing the cash, it's still worth a visit.
Amazing food! Everything is vegetarian and can be made vegan. The set menu had 6 different dishes and all were delicious. The venue is beautiful with vines growing inside. Small but good wine list and some interesting cocktails on offer. Plus the desert was to die for! Definitely recommend this place and will be back.
Great restaurant and great service. Fantastic range of vegan dishes that have only left me wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend
