A laid back & cosy place with soft jazz playing in the background. Quite a few pool tables & a few snooker tables available. The milkshakes are so good here, hands down! Been visiting this place for almost a decade. It's such an old building but it has such an awesome atmosphere. You can't hear the traffic on Brunswick street which is great too! The pool room is located upstairs. I find this place very therapeutic and I find that I can just sit down and enjoy a warm drink, while people play pool. The old carpet and aging building is really fab, along with the gentle sound of the floorboards lightly creaking beneath the carpet.

Best milkshakes in Melbs. Behind the counter guys look super blazed. Maybe they are just really relaxed. Pick a table from the million they have available. Perfect for a music video clip or at least your Instagram story.

A renovation would be all that’s needed for the venue to be exceptional, as the tables and flooring are unfortunately not too fresh, but still playable. The service is friendly and communicative, and the milkshakes are absolutely delicious, don’t hesitate to try one with all the different flavours available.

One could not possibly ask for more from a snooker hall. Excellent lighting and ambience; enormous number of tables – 12, 9, and 6 foot available, even one with American pockets; very warm and helpful staff as well as friendly regulars; excellent table rates; a range of balls and sizes for most games; relaxed music and fitting and interesting decor; a great range of shakes, sweets, and snacks; and even the smoking area on the staircase gives a nice view of the Fitzroy skyline. Whether you want to while away a couple of hours practicing solo, celebrate an occasion with some friends, or pick up a scratch match with another enthusiast, this is the place for any billiards enthusiast from veterans to those picking up a cue for the first time.
