First Tae Kwon Do is a great place to learn traditional martial art under the direction of kind, enthusiastic and experienced instructors who lead by example in everything that they do. Students can expect to be educated not only in the art itself but to be instilled with values such as respect, self discipline and determination- principles that will stay with them forever. I would highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to learn Tae Kwon Do.
First Tae Kwon Do is a traditional school of martial arts that sets very high standards for its students at all levels. The school leads by example, with Master Vernon Low regularly assessing all students, as well as personally conducting Black Belt training on a quarterly basis. There are many Dojangs in the Perth metro area and regional WA, as well as in other states of Australia. I have trained since the year 2000, and my wife and children have also been students. We have all benefitted greatly in terms of physical fitness, flexibility and confidence in our ability to defend ourselves. The school strives to provide a family oriented training programme that includes physical fitness and discipline at all levels.
Fantastic traditional Tae Kwon Do martial arts school where anyone can participate (the whole family can do something together) and progress at their own pace (their own journey). As a non profit school, the instructors are friendly, interested in the art and if you want to learn they will help. The wide range of ages and skill levels makes the art very inclusive. With over twenty training centres in the Perth region it is easy to find a dojang close by, and once you learn some basic skills one can train at other centres at no additional cost (costs are quite reasonable).
I'm so proud to be a part of the largest martial art here in WA. Ego is left at the door in this organisation. We are blessed here to have WA run by such a passionate, charismatic Chief Instructor who has 30 years of training experience who selflessly passes on his knowledge and wisdom to all the students here in WA. This is a martial art that is here for the long run with a rich heritage and a very bright future with many positive events planned for the future.
