The Showgrounds made a great base for exploring the gorge and for a day trip up into Eungella National park. Campground is huge with lots of power and water hookups available, toilets and hot showers and just a short walk through the back gate to the pub and general store/ post office.

Clean amenities, close to shops, hotel and other. Central to scenic tourist attractions.
Loving it here. We chose the non powered area so that we could "get away" from the crowds" and do we ended up nestled under the shade of some beautiful paperbark trees right next to the river, which was burbling away as it ran over the rocks. Lovely afternoon in glorious shade listening to the music of the water and the calls of the imperial pigeons. So relaxing, and totally secure. We unhooked and used the shortcut out to the Gorge. More exploring today.
This is a great place to stay. Has a really chilled vibe with grt camp hosts Wilma and Terry. Clean toilets and hot showers and plenty of grass for vans or tents. Price at 25 for a powered site is good value. Great pub and general store walking distance.
Amenities are very clean but a little dated. Very laid back a community. A little noisy at cane harvest time. Fire allowed in byo fire pit.
Great place to stay. Plenty of room for any size van, camper etc. Hot showers, toilets, water and power - 25 per night per site. Caretaker lady was a gem. Local pub is kid friendly with an enclosed playground beside it. The showgrounds are near Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungalla National Park, both with fantastic walks!
