Grass is way better than the paddock
like
Excellently curated grass. When able, I run in bare feet. Near one edge of the oval, you can catch a whiff of the nearby food stalls from the ANU court. A lovely place to run intervals or play soccer.

Nice place to play sports or running, and there's a small exercise area besides the parking area.
Good Ground to play football on, just a little short though
