I recently purchased a Havana bedroom package, with terrible results. The quality of the furniture was sensationally bad. The tallboy in the package literally fell apart like a house of cards! We are no carpenters, but we followed the instructions and used the tools provided. I now understand why people divorce, or shoot each other, when forced to assemble cheap flat pack furniture.I am well aware that Fantastic Furniture is a bargain basement retailer, but expect the furniture to last more than a hour. All that said, the staff and delivery drivers earn five stars. They have been extremely helpful and were able to refund the sale of the bedside tables. I’m hoping, and believe I deserve, a refund for the tallboy. I’m pleased to say it was taken away in parts by the delivery drivers today and hope to never set eyes on it again.

DO NOT SHOP AT FANTASTIC FURNITURE! I paid for 3000 worth of furniture in December 2020. Despite paying up front we were given the absolute run around. After 12 emails and multiple phone calls and waiting 4 months we still haven’t got all of our items and have asked for a refund. The staff at Cairns have no idea what they are doing. The courier told us Fantastic Furniture frequently sell stock that other people have paid for and give people run around. Don’t shop there.

Updated after post google reviews: Hey Nick from Fantastic, stop doing the marketing show to cheat people. Feel sorry but you guys have a very serious problem with warranty service, even I contact you by email. I still get no reply from Fantastic after 8 days. Can't believe it you guys just doing the marketing show on google and it still keep a same attitude to the customer. Well done. ‐---------------------------- Not that Fantastic. Spend more than 5k, bought a full set of furniture from the end of 2017 for a new home, great salesman, and providing great service and professional opinions. 2 months ago the sofa seat had a sink problem from quality issues and contacted Cairns Fantastic with the warranty on 5 September 2020. They email back to me said will contact me for a follow-up with 5 business days, but it is delays and no response unit I sent another email 2 weeks later, they replied and keep records for the repairs department, and no follow-up sent the thrid email asked for the process, finally they reply me after my email & said they will send someone to look after my sofa, and again they get no reply and they disappeared again and again. Now 23 October 2020 which is still NO SOLUTION after 48 days later. I got all of black and white in emails and I'm not lying, really don't understand how this happened in the big company, which is they should be providing good service, at least I don't think they are doing a good job for me, to be honest, it is all talking about trust to doing business, but there is no trust and responsibility. Very disappointing about the after purchase service!! Sure will come back no more and willing to tell my friends to stay away from Fantastic Furniture in Cairns.

Still waiting for my order 2 months later and have been informed it may be a further 3 weeks. I was told 5-7 weeks delivery time due to Covid impacting/causing delays. However, reading through past reviews this seems to be the norm for this company. So if you’re in need of furniture ensure you order it 6 months prior!!

Paid for products and was told were in stock in Brisbane and would be 2 weeks. I had to make contact after 2 weeks to be told another week. After 4 weeks I made contact again to be told they now don't have them in stock and they don't know eta. When I voiced my displeasure they said what do you want us to do. Ended up just getting a refund and won't be going back. Will tell as many people as I can.
