Volunteer Coast Guard Station. On-Call 24/7. Call 000 in an emergency. Coast guard volunteer staff are Highly experience and highly trained with internationally recognised maritime qualifications. A lot of coast guard volunteers are actually full time members of other emergency services such as Ambulance and Police, and are also volunteers. Coast Guard vessels are specifically designed and built for purpose. Without the volunteer Coast guard stations around Australia's coast, and some also in the bigger inner water ways, a lot of vessels would be lost, and possibly people with them. Darwin Coast Guard is based at Darwin Trailer Boat Club. See their website link for more information and phone numbers.
