Falsely and illegally still advertises the shooting facility of Tower (and Skeet but Skeet has now been removed) but in fact Tower is not offered as per an email dated 28/8/18 from them. Do not provide any pro rata of memberships (note - some other Clay target clubs also refuse to pro rata) even though FGA and SSAA can and do. Also charge credit card fees above the Reserve Bank of Australia approved limit of 1% - 1.5% per transaction. Currently are subject to a VCAT case regarding these issues but have not attended the last three hearings and reject any certified mail regarding VCAT hearings. No Skeet, no Tower (limited facilities), False advertising, possible overcharging of credit card fees and they reject anything to do with VCAT. Is this the club you want to join?

The experience at metro gun club is the best out of all of them, it is very welcoming and has the best canteen. The shooting grounds are very good and the workers know there way around giving you a few tips on getting better. I would recommend going there if your interested.

This is a great club. Very welcoming. The prices are also great. They have most disciplines covered. We generally shoot 5 stand and everytime we have been, there has already been or they have sent out a staff member to run the throwers. As SSAA members it was 60 for a yearly social membership and 10 per round of clays, which is on par with most clubs. The cafe has a good selection of food. Honestly it is just a nice club to shoot at.

The attitude of the members was abrasive and unwelcoming, put me off joining the club. I was rudely spoken to for turning up to field and game with a short barrel shotgun and was told the police would shut the club down (total BS), despite the barrel length being accepted under the rules at the time (I'm aware of a rule change in mid 2018). In addition to this the members who I dealt with treated me with an ora of distain because I was paying a range fee to simply visit for a recreational shoot rather than being a member. Overall an unpleasant experience which cost them multiple new members as I relayed my experience to family and friends who are shooters.

The target shooting people are a weird bunch of individuals to say the least! They seemed happy, but very weird. Weird people with guns??? Not quite sure about our gun licensing system? Also, went and got a coffee afterwards at nearby shopping centre and the locals at the next table that overheard our conversation about our day profanely abused us over the gunfire noise. One of our group got into a push and shove with an argumentative "woman" and had a bottle of water thrown over him. There is something seriously wrong with this place. Never going back to Epping again. Supposed to be a team building exercise. More like a no go zone. Oh, and by the way, don't eat there either. There is no way that place is safe to eat. What minimal food on offer was really really really bad. Do yourself a favour and avoid!!!
