These schemes are one of the most successful mechanisms for delivering energy savings at lowest cost greenhouse gas abatement. The ESIA advocates for certificate-based energy savings schemes across Australia: for annual target increases, for more energy savings activities to be included and for extension beyond current end dates. The ESIA engages with governments to enhance the schemes. ESIA member companies represent the majority of certificate creation within the schemes and energy savings industry market leaders. New members are welcome including certificate creators, product suppliers and other service providers.
