The customer service is so horrible that you actually had to laugh to make peace with the experience. Most of the people who work here look absolutely miserable and in fact angry. There was no sign saying you can't walk into the shop and yet I got told off by the guy at the entrance for walking in, despite being allowed to walk into the shop on previous visits after signing in. When I questioned the guy about that, he said:"Well I changed my mind!". WOW. The whole shop including its amenities and systems are all stuck in the 70s, including the fact they make you walk up and down stairs to pay a handwritten invoice. A fascinating time machine experience if you want to see the old way of commerce back in the day, but if you want to be treated like they actually want you there - go elsewhere. Having said all that, there were a couple of friendly helpful staff there, but they were definitely the minority. I would absolutely try source my fabric elsewhere to avoid going to this absolute joke of a place again.

0 STARS: Never EVER in my life have I had such a horrific customer service experience. I'm by no means expecting the red carpet but at least turn your back before you roll your eyes at your customers? I myself spent 10 years in the customer service industry (so I know what it can be like) and the behaviour of staff here is reprehensible, I would've been fired on the spot for treating customers like this. A 'couldn't care less' attitude from staff, openly telling you they're not interested in helping and to work it out yourself. Was told to go down to level 1 to pay - the woman there ignored me for several minutes until a colleague informed her of my presence - to which she began muttering under her breath complaining about how annoying customers are. If anyone nice works here, I feel really bad for them. Left the store feeling so bad that I cried, thinking it was personal - read the reviews here and feel better it wasn't just me!! DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I only went here as it basically the only place in this area to buy large amounts of fabric. The overall customer experience is terrible. Don’t expect service standards here. Also the process of buying materials and other things are extremely out dated and manual. Slow. I can imagine a fresh competitor coming to this area and everyone would be going there instead. Truly needs an upgrade on service and process. Some staff are lovely, but overall, i hated waiting around with workers treating me like i owe them something and bothering them. Not long until more motivated and clever competitors take over.

I noticed in here someone said..... lady in accounts is very rude. I agree totally, Barbara is extremely rude. I am left stunned by her raised voice and anger, Barbara explaining something in that way is not the right way to conduct yourself. However, you obviously are allowed to conduct yourself in that manner and have the support of your boss/owner to do so. George you are amazing to deal with every time.
