Elysia lived up to the standard that "Golden Door" created. Food was clean, fresh and tasty. Staff were amazing and everything worked. Many of the staff were there last time and they really delivered. The only drama was they were having trouble with male spa and female sauna.

Pros Were allocated rooms st the Elysia Wellness retreat even though we had had booked for the Cypress lakes resort. Great location and lots of kangaroos on site every morning and evening. Spacious and modern, each room had it's own ensuite. Cons Were only told on arrival that we were booked into the Wellness retreat which had it's own rules. No use of mobile phones in common areas, no drinking of coffee and alcohol in common areas. Was okay for us as it didn't apply, but could see it being an issue for other guests when advised last minute. Also, we had or temperature taken on arrival for COVID and were asked to sign a declaration stating we had not come from any COVID hot spots. Our unit contained a small kitchenette with a stove and a microwave, however, there were no pots and pans provided and insufficient cutlery in the drawers for 4 people. We called reception and asked for additional cutlery and a frypan/saucepan. All the cutlery was delivered dirty with food still attached to it, that people had put into their mouths and the frypan had a ball of dust/lint in it and no dishwashing liquid provided to wash it. Attention to detail is lacking, especially something so obvious.
Incredible surroundings, supportive staff, great selection of classes and seminars, and food was out-of-this world healthy AND tasty! Mel and Matt are professionnel, insightful, helpful and friendly. For a massage, book Scott For acupuncture, book Dean Both pools are gorgeous and meditation hill offers up spectacular 360 views. All spa and wellness treatments were nurturing and relaxing, if a little pricey, given once you’re there, they have a captive audience. Definitely worth a 7 day detox from life!

Absolutely loved my 7 days here, from the moment I arrived I instantly felt at ease and was comfortable I made the right decision! The staff are excellent and accommodating, plus know their stuff in their respective fields! The food was amazing, so fresh and tasty and extremely satisfying. I felt like I was in a serene oasis, and truely was grateful to be able to experience my stay here. It was a great place to spend time with like minded people, I can really appreciate the serenity there after arriving back to the hustle and bustle. Thank you to all the staff there that do an excellent job!

A relaxation paradise with experienced & committed staff that have remained with the business for many years. A great retreat in the heart of beautiful Polkobin, NSW to inspire a change of lifestyle for health and well-being. If you need an emotional recharge in a peaceful environment this I would highly recommend.
Iv come to the spa on a regular basis for quite some time now since moving from Sydney. I was hopefully going to book in a massage at 12pm for my mother as she has been under a lot of stress dealing with health issues. The lady working there taking booking today. 4th September 2020 was absolutely the rudest lady iv ever come across since visiting. Iv never had someone give attitude is less than 3 minutes of talking. Not a good look I’d never go again.
