Lovely old house. Amazing that it has survived for almost 230 years. A huge thanks to the Swan family who owned it from 1904-1968. Despite many offers from developers, they refused. And it survives for all of us to enjoy. The house isn't a huge mansion, so it's something you can do in about an hour. I was given an iPad which has the floorplan and some interesting videos. The best being the 15 minute introduction - I highly recommend finding a peaceful shaded spot to watch it. The gardens are also beautiful. I was offered a tour guide, but decided to go it alone. If you are in a group, the tour guide would probably be a better way to see it. Lovely staff (probably volunteers).

Elizabeth Farm is one of the oldest homes in Australia. I really have a great experience searching all the rooms, around the place and also a peaceful garden. It is really feeling touch with the historic homestead because this place is really a beautiful and great place to spend time here. Friendly staffs and great service. You can have a rest with a nice coffee shop here.

Great little place. Interesting story of early Australian colonial life being told in the place it happened. And the experts are very knowledgeable!

Interesting experience, lovely gardens and great history. Only complaint is the cost of 15 as 30 minutes is more than enough time to see everything there is to offer.
