Always a positive experience dealing with ELFA. Every person I have spoken with there (over many years of repeat business) has been helpful & efficient. Can't fault them.

Had a part i needed replaced that was a victim of normal wear and tear on a Hercules mic stand. Chris went that extra mile to help me out. Fantastic service!

Brilliant. I had a warranty claim for my Marshall amp and the guys were nothing but accommodating for me. Fixed it with no fuss and gave me advice on ongoing maintenance . First class!!

When I had an acute problem with my EWI 5000 I contacted AKAI support and they told me to check with ELFA which I did. I was immediately asked 'did you buy locally?' and when I told them I had bought it in the US because it wasn't available in Australia at the time, the reply was 'well I really don't even want to look at your problem, and we are actually not obliged to help you' - the entire tone felt hostile and condescending/felt like a guilt trip or 'now we gonna punish you for being a naughty boy' - also I am still waiting (after 4 weeks) for a simple answer re availability of an EWI battery replacement. Get back to your supplier only, even if they are on Mars or Venus, but avoid this so-called 'support' company at all cost! I am thinking of reporting this kind of attitude to AKAI head office, musicians who have paid good money to AKAI (worldwide!) for their gear and just asking for a bit of advice or help locally should not be treated like this. PS but if you need them and got your gear from eBay etc - just tell them you got it from your grandmother for last Xmas, and that she bought it at Harvey Norman or Kosmic as far as you know...
