Quality Windows Good strength 95% maintenance free. Just give it a rub down every now and then. Excellent from a thermal perspective. Noise reduction good. Australian standards are 3 mil glass, 10 mil gap and then 3 mil glass. The Ecostar one with 4 mil glass, 20 mil space and 4 mil is suitable for Australian standards. I saw Ecostar at the shopping centre in Endeavour Hills. Office were fine. Quote process with Jared was fine. Fully explanatory. Laid out clearly what you are getting.

Have been getting Ecostar double glazing a bit/side of house at a time . Found them to be extremely reliable. Had double glazing in UK and missed it when I emigrated. Recently took delivery of front door - what a door! Can’t stop looking at it, as do other people who are constantly commenting on what a fabulous piece of furniture it is. Expecting third delivery shortly and are getting excited as the day nears. Fitters do a great job too when pieces arrive - what workmanship, SO precise. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.
The product is wonderful - saves so much in energy with cooler summer and we love the quieter living. Often we are not aware of how much noise is outside until we walk out the front door! Installers were great. The only reason I dropped a star was our experience with the office staff - not so friendly and easy to work with.
One great thing is that we live on a busy road. The busiest road in the area. The road has been resurfaced at night time and our neighbors have not been able to sleep due to the noise, we haven't been affected and have been able to sleep. Our daughter Jo was previously bothered by people walking by going to McDonalds talking and now she doesn't hear it any more. The noise has reduced in a huge way. More than a 50% reduction. The comfort level has been great. We use now less electricity. Brick home and with double glazing our home is now very efficient. We don't use as much air conditioning as we did before. Not to hot, not to cold. We save on electricity, gas and bills because of the double glaze. I love how it looks. The material is great. Our friends say it looks good. We like the lack of maintence. Good tradesmen. Took away the old window. We ordered four windows from Jared in late 2019. Jared has been honest with us. Two bedrooms and the living room. Service from the office good. They follow up and email. Previously our architraves were kd, and we would like the same again. I have been a builder for decades in Australia.
I an quite Happy with the manner in which the product was sold and installed. However, we are still waiting for a replacement unit for one of our Damaged windows. The staff have been very understanding of our situation.
I was very excited to learn more about this product, however the company refused to send a sales consultant to our home without my husband present. I assured them that my husband was happy for me to progress with the purchase if I liked the product and thought it would suit our needs, however they refused to come out. I am very disappointed that in a time when we are trying to support women's rights and equality generally in Australia, that the assumption would be that my husband would need to make the purchasing decision. Very disappointing outcome.
I am very happy with Ecostar. We ordered one window in the bedroom in 2016. Our old wooden window was rotten. The installation was good. We had two boys do the installation. It is much much better with our new window. Much better than aluminum. Happy with the look. Definitely good for security. Office are very helpful. Sales guy was nice. We believe it helped improve the value of our house. Today we are looking at ordering another one. The price was a little bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.
