Never had a problem before but....went to replace my 2 year old rocat cone mouse. They have another brand that is a direct and cheaper copy. It says it was both left and right handed. It wasn't only one thumb button. It was also glitching and didn't scroll well. Took it back, big bearded dude got all smartarse with me. Wouldn't even let me exchange it and was playing word games. I left it with him as I know my rights, had to phone the regional manager who sorted it instantly. Went back, beard wasn't there....I exchanged for a rocat all good. Why get smart with customers? It just makes you look like a fool.

Pre-ordered Cyberpunk for PC a while ago and went into the store to ask if the game would be on steam or another platform. The young guy behind the counter said “I don’t know. You’ll have to wait and see on the day... I think it’s on steam.” The staff member didn’t even bother to ask the two girls working with him if they knew? I stood there just awkwardly waiting... so i asked “...is there any other way I can find out.... maybe online?” He said “yeah... maybe.” Classic example of why basic customer service modules are introduced when onboarding a new team member.

in EB games marrickville: Staff here is very rude and refused to offer exchange or refund, very disappointing experience: Staff said that gaming mouse is pc accessory and can not be exchanged or refunded, even with the original box, receipt and within 7 days in perfect resale condition. However next day in EB games ashfield, I GET fully REFUND immediately!!! Highly recommend Mwave.com AND OTHER EB games STORE to purchase any PC accessories, they offer 7 days no reason refund and exchange. I won't buy any product here any more.

Horrible customer service. If not for the product itself, it would be a one-star rating. I went here on 9 January 2021 for the collection of a game after purchasing online near closing time. There were at least two major issues which occurred during the process. i) the woman working at the counter actively said that people using my purchase method (online) were "the worst" to her colleague, when I could clearly hear it and; ii) the man working at the counter was very patronising, and insistant on me providing e-mail identification despite showing him my purchase with my personal details, the method of purchase and product through my online account. Even going as far as saying that he "couldn't see the personal details" before he took my phone and scrolled with it. This is already an issue for Covid-19 reasons, let alone being rude and insulting. If you can help it, don't buy at this EB Games. I have never had this issue with the EB Games at the city or Miranda or anywhere else in between. Or even shop elsewhere such as JB Hi-Fi if you can help it since they also have good game sales. Sometimes the price is right, and you get what you pay for in service.
