Piano teacher was great showed interest in teaching but felt there was no structure by management. It felt like we were not part of the music centre but rather the piano teacher was just simply hiring the room for the students.

This school is great for anyone interested in learning more about music. There are lessons available on most popular instruments and lessons are suitable for any skill level from beginner to advanced. Everything from first learning your instrument to music theory is covered in an relaxed environment. All styles can be covered from metal, to blues to jazz to classical etc. Late classes are great for people who work or study full time. I highly recommend giving it a go
This place is great for musicians of any skill level. I've been there for 3 years, and I have loved every second of it. The teachers there are awesome, and can teach you something new every lesson. Definitely recommend trying out.
My young son has just started to learn the violin here and is loving it. From my first email contact to the first lesson, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The violin teacher is friendly, approachable and professional - my son responds to her very well. Would not hesitate to recommend Eastern Suburbs School of Music for anyone interested in learning an instrument.
I joined the Eastern School of Music for Ukulele lessons. Dave has taught me for over a year and I have gained lots of confidence performing. It's a really friendly and supportive school, and something for all ages.
Our daughter has been taught drums by the school. The teachers are very experienced, patient and encouraging. Would definitely recommend the school for an aspiring musicians.
I cannot recommend ESSM highly enough as a great place for anyone at any stage of their musical journey - and at any age! I started bass lessons earlier this year (in my late 40s after playing woodwinds 30 odd years ago) and have been loving it. Daniel is an amazing musician, outstanding teacher and one of the most supportive people you'd ever meet. A couple of months ago I auditioned with and joined an originals alt rock band and that wouldn't have happened with Daniel and the ESSM team. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!
