Me and my boyfriend wanted to try Filipino cuisine together and wow, Sir Manong gave us an amazing experience! The place is beautiful, very warm staff, and for the win-succulent food! These are enough reasons for us to visit and satisfy our taste buds again. Also, shout out to the very accommodating manager of the restaurant Mrs Dianne! The whole experience with Sir Manong made our Monday night so much better. Highly recommended!

Surprisingly quick service. Hefty serving. We enjoyed every single dish we ordered. Possibly one of the best Filipino resto in Sydney.
This was an amazing experience into authentic Filipino cuisine for myself! The restaurant has a great atmosphere, fantastic staff and service and extremely flavourful food! My girlfriend and I visited the restaurant on a Monday and even then it was fairly busy which goes to show how popular this place is. Our night would not have been completed without the exceptional service of the restaurant manager Dianne and her ability to make us feel welcomed and at home in the restaurant! We tried about 4 dishes and each one was unbelievably tasteful, however I look forward to visiting again and trying the rest of the items on the menu!
Good place and good food. They actually have a system in place which I find efficient (order at the counter and pay!). Prices are reasonable and are in line with any other Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Vietnamese restaurants. Less expensive than Italian foods of course! To all the walk-ins whinging they waited over an hour and had to leave you should wake up. I would have left after 15 mins if no tables were available. Come back another day. Don't leave a negative review if you didn't even have the opportunity to try the foods. No food is worth waiting for an hour no matter how GREAT it will be. That's just me. Keep up the good work. To Sir Manong motivate your staff more to smile and greet the customers. Shyness is not a good quality in F&B industry. Good communication skills is the key and of course fast and efficient service.
Ambience is really beautiful, one of the best Filipino restaurants in Sydney by far. Glad to have discovered it. Food was served hot. And we didn't wait too long. We enjoyed the flavors of the dishes we ordered and we all agreed it was quite a big serving. We'll definitely be coming back. It would have been perfect if they played OPM on the background to complete the whole Filipino ambience.
The food here is awesome service was spot on. We felt welcomed! We actually didn't even know about this place at all. Just asked the car to direct us to nearest shopping centre since m4 was busy as usual. Portion size is on the large size which for most Philippine restaurants is a rarity. We can't complain on anything we ate that night. We will be back for sure if we are in the area again.
The food at Sir Manong is amazing! I’ve never had Filipino food before, but Manong was the perfect introduction. And the staff are friendly and lovely. Highly recommended!
I would have given a higher rating but for the lady in glasses behind the counter. I booked for 9 people and we were ushered to our table courteously by the wait staff. I wrote down our order and proceeded to the counter. The lady punched in our order and when she got to the mocktail she said "we don't have it so cancel the whole thing?" We told her just remove the mocktail. After we paid for our order, she asked us if we have a reservation. Don't know why she had to be snooty. In contrast, the 2 wait staff were courteous and friendly. Food was good and prices were reasonable.
