Variety has improved immensely over the last few years. Fishing gear has been bought more into line as to where the store is located. Pricing and discounts are great.

The level of service and expertise isn't what you would want to see in a store of this type, in my experience the staff show no interest in what they sell. There is plenty to chose from, but know what you want before you go, do your research and shop around. Don't expect the staff to help, they are largely absent and prefer to watch from a distance. The shop now caters to those who want to buy a 'brand' and no longer offers traditional good costumer service.

Have to give the guys here a massive thumbs up. Bought a bike for a 11yo. Sure the bike was a little expensive compared to kmart but you get what you pay for. At the time of purchase the bloke serviced the bike and spent a good 1/2hr adjusting brakes, gears etc and made sure before it left the store everything worked spot on. Now I know enough to get me into trouble where bikes are concerned so watching all the adjusting he done was great. Now for after sales service......at the time of purchase we were told to bring it back in 6 weeks for a free tune up and to make sure everything was running as it should and re adjust after cables etc had slacked off from use. Our daughter managed to (somehow) do a triple backwards somersault or alike and land the bike on the gear derailer. It made a mess of it. As it was due for its free service we took it in to be looked at, fully expecting to have to pay for a replacement derailer and labour plus whatever other damage she had done. The bloke who sold us the bike was also the one on who took the bike for its service. I think his face said it all. With a tear in his eye as he looked over the bike that 6 weeks ago he had spent ages setting up he says, "this will take some time. Can you leave it with me as I will probably have to order the derailer in". We left it there for a week. We thought it would probably cost 50-100 if we were lucky. We got the call to come pick it up and on arrival found somehow (probably magic) he had managed.to straighten out and repair the original parts and to top it all off it was all included in the free service and so cost us nothing. Can't speak highly enough of the service we received. Top marks !!
