The "Grey Street Fountain" opposite Grey Street on the east side of the Gardens is one of the oldest fountains to be found in Melbourne's Gardens. The design is simple and comprises of three tazza bowls of diminishing size, with each bowl raised on a socle and pedestal. The rim of each bowl is decorated with an egg-and-dart moulding. The fountain is set on a volcanic rock outcrop within a pool. It's a well preserved example of an imported English design, indicative of the taste in garden ornamentation of the mid-late 19th Century.

Nice fountain located inside Fitzroy Gardens. It's surrounded by flowers so it was quite colourful. There was also a few place seats around the fountain but no shade
