We used the Kluwell reading app for our Grade 5/6 students. It was an easy and smooth transition from using the diary to using the app. Kluwell Publications made changes to the app throughout the year, improving it for users and also visual enhancements. The students in my class found it very easy to use and enjoyed the awards and games they unlocked each time they hit a reading milestone. From a teaching perspective, it was simple to take a look at how regularly the students had been reading and can be accessed before, during and after school hours. The messaging system made it easy to send students their reading goals and also any reminders about making sure they are on top of their reading. Highly recommend using this app, especially in the senior end of the school.

We have started using the yellow level books. My son loves reading and this just makes it even more fun (for Mum too). He is now reading a wide range of material and we love using the stickers to keep on track. I love his chatting about what he has learnt and the books he has read - road maps is an interesting one. Recommend these books to really get involved in your child’s learning.
We are now onto our third child using the Kluwell Reading Diaries, and highly recommend them. They are such a great tool for both parents and children (and teachers I'm sure). It motivates the children to read as they enjoy recording their progress and reaching the awards, and it helps us as parents to track their reading and ensure we are doing enough each week.
I have found the Kluwell reading journals to be very beneficial to my children's reading experience. A fantastic product which is easy to use, helping keep track of my children's reading progress.
As a parent, there is nothing better than witnessing my children's enjoyment when finishing their daily school reader, then writing their reflection in their Kluwell Journal. They are always on countdown to their next sticker.
