We have had all my boys attend Redfield College , and have been associated with this School for a period of over 20 years. The Formation, Development and Support , you receive is Second to none. Having experienced over 4 others Schools , nothing compares or get close to this School. We live an hour from the School and since 1996 , we enjoyed every minute, day and night of travel, talks and tuitions. Without the Support that the School gave my children and us as Parents we would not be where they are today. Our association hasn’t stopped our journey will hopefully continue as we hope to send our Grandchildren there. I highly recommend Redfield College to any parent who’s looking at sending their Child there.

My son attends Redfield College since year 2. He has severe dyslexia and learning difficulties. He couldn't read or write much. Redfield believed they could help my son through his difficulties and provide him extra classes to learn to read and write. My son is now in year 6 and he can read! They pushed him to his capacity and did not give up on him. He even gets 15 out of 15 for spelling! This is a miracle on its own! The teachers and the learning support director never gave up on my son. They encouraged him more and more every year. I have also noticed that the school encouraged respect and building character with strong faith. Bullying is dealt with immediately and so my son has built strong friendships. He is now thriving with confidence and I only have the school with wonderful teachers and a great principal to thank! I highly recommend Redfield College to anyone who wants to develop their son to be the best they can be!

Having being a member of the 2020 Corona class has been a very different experience for the normal year 12 man. I’ve gotta say Redfield has done everything to help me and my class get through this year not to mention the constant support and development throughout the whole of the years of our school life and experience at the college. I’ve been to 3 different schools; NOTHING COMES CLOSE TO REDFIELD! The school constitutes principles of hard work ethic and intimate relationship with God in our work. Without the catholic influence of the school it would not be the same no would it be close as the foundations are based on catholic principles which have proven superior in my development as a man in my experience at the college. The regular mentor sessions during my HSC really got me through and I can’t thank my mentor enough. If you’re worried about what your child’s gonna get taught at school send your kids Redfield, It’s the only school in Sydney that I put my confidence in to send my children in the Day and age with such corruption and confusion in the world. I thank you guys for everything you’ve done for me and this is not goodbye but see you in the future when I send my children there God bless

I find the mentoring system at Redfield really supports what my wife and I try to foster in our kid's character development. This partnership between the home and school is quite unique and is an significant strength of this College.

This school is most certainly not the school it once was. Once upon a time it was a school that focused on true catholic values, parents are the first educators and character building. It was a school where your child could be themselves and were pushed to achieve their personal best. All it cares about now are high Atar results and money. If you have a child who has learning difficulties and needs extra help be prepared to not only pay the school fees but also the extra tutoring fees. Due to many years of poor financial mismanagement by the board of directors / Pared, the school is now in damage control and have little resources to offer and are forcing teachers to take on multiple roles. In regards to bullying, the school does not take a serious approach and instead of dealing with it encourages the parents to sort out issues outside of the school. In the last 12 months both principals from Redfield and Tangara were forced out of their positions as they refused with demands from the board of directors in which the school was to be operated. I truly believe Redfield will be a great school but will take 5-10 years to achieve this but I will not be apart of the struggle for others to benefit from while my children are disadvantaged.

EDITED: This is a great school. They understand the boys and bring out their best; be it sports, academia or expressing their faith and strong character. Highly recommend the mentor system of Redfield helping the boys to become the best men they can be. 3yrs in and loving it. PREVIOUS: We moved from another Catholic primary school. Chalk and cheese. Here, they help the boys learn to walk the talk in their everyday lives. Being good people AND getting a great education. Amazing, not perfect but who is, it’s a journey.
