Access Dubbo Weir via the Regand Park Trail - The Weir is quite interesting, however it is the Regand Park Trail which is a fantastic walk and bicycle trail which earns the 5 star rating. I am not sure how long the trail is (it took us about an hour to walk at a leisurely pace with our dog from one end to the other). You can access the Regan Park Trail from Macquarie Street, Dubbo (nearest cross street Diane Street) or Tamworth Street (Macquarie River end). Allow yourself time and energy to walk back to your car if you have driven (you can walk back along Macquarie Street, which is a shorter distance and it does not follow the Macquarie River like the trail does). Please note, there is no access to this trail via Macquarie street at night, as the gates will be closed
