Our wine tasting was a great experience, with information provided about qualities of wines, difference involved in making them, smell and taste explained. The lady serving us spoke with such passion, knowledge and enthusiasm that we were wholeheartedly consumed by this amazing experience. We ordered 2 shared platters : seafood and harvest ones. It was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented and filling. We chose this winery randomly on the day of our visit but most definitely will be back for more of their picturesque site, good food and great variety of wine.

The way they make their wine seemed interesting so we decided to visit on a quiet Tuesday afternoon. Upon entry we were not acknowledged or greeted despite there only being 2 other customers there and 2 staff present. After roaming around the small cellar door/bar area for about 5 - 10 minutes looking at the wines and still not being acknowledged, greeted or approached we decided to leave. Please note this review is based solely on the service and not the product as we were not able to try any. Happy to change the rating of this review in the future if we have a more pleasant experience as we really did want to try the terracotta wine.

A fantastic evening: “Mindful Eating Project’ with Andrew Ballard and Simmer Culinary presenting an ensemble of spectacular four course plant-based meals paired with the Trofeo Estate’s Terracotta Amphora wines. Each meal an unpredictable delightful surprise in presentation and tastes, completing with a dessert that popped and mixed a hue of colour-tastes resembling an artist’s palette. A perfect ambience, definitely my favourite winery.

What an exceptional winery. I could not fault the service, platters and wines. The place is well maintained and the vineyard is simply a work of art. I would highly recommended this place to all. Especially on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.

Had a lovely lunch on New Year’s day with the family. Good outdoor setting, friendly staff and good lunch at a reasonable price. Disappointed with the quality of wines they produce. Also, had to ring them to return the deposit that I paid for reservation.

Thank you so much Trofeo for looking after myself and my guests at our wedding day. With Covid it was a long and drawn out process but the end result was excellent and all changes made up for. Thank you to Lisa and Marty especially and the fantastic service, wine and food provided. It was a wholesome and enjoyable wedding because you guys made it so.

Nice place. They make their wines in terracotta pots for some reason (I think he said cos it doesn’t add any flavour to the grape juice itself). I’m a Pinot noir guy but at this winery I think their best red wines are their Shiraz’s. So I bought a bottle of that
