Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park is an Australian zoo in Doonside, west of the Sydney's Central Business District. It's a privately owned and operated tourist attraction. Here you get an opportunity to see Koala and cuddle a baby Kangaroo, and so on ...Featherdale has the largest number of koalas in New South Wales, 3 open space fenced in areas loaded up with kangaroos, wombats, Tasmanian devils and so on. We had been to this place with kids;had a gala time.

Great family day out and kids entry free in April. Lots of animals to see. Fed the kangaroos. Had a photo with the koala. Saw a wombat and penguins up real close. Great day all round. Everyone had an awesome day.
Great place to take the kids. Probably a better experience for kids 4 but great for any age. Make sure to take hats and apply copious amounts of sunscreen. If you want to avoid a 50 lunch bill (2 adults, 2 kids) pack water, lunch and snacks. Enjoy!
There were a lot more animals roaming around before (8 years ago) like emus and kangaroos. Still lots of cute wallabies and native fauna. I noticed the shoebill is no longer there. Amazing bird collection and reptiles too. The koalas are the star attraction and they didn’t disappoint with their lazy demeanour.
Highly recommended we love coming here. Today we were fortunate to see all the animals being so active There's toilets and change tables also food for purchase and an ice cream cart
I recently visited hear with my wife and little girl which was a recommendations from friends . The wildlife park is quite big and has a lot to do especially for the little one which can get up close to many animals. You can buy food to hand feed the animals at the entrance it only costs 3 and enhances the experience . If your a koala lover they have at least 20 or more in hear and they where quiet active when we visited. We throughly enjoy the experience as the staff are friendly when you have a question and our little girl had a blast .
Really good sized animal park for younger kids. Easy to get to and around. Have been here twice in the last few months...on both occasions staff were friendly. The first time when the park was quieter there were even animal encounters included in your ticket price. Staff took a photo on our own camera for no fee while our family held a crocodile. The kids loved it.
It is a amazing experience for kids and parents. Ample of native animals to see. It's not a zoo, so don't expect to see lion, elephant or other big animals. The cafe is decent but had extremely slow because of the huge crowd. Which is understandable considering the entry to be free for kids and adults can use their dine and discovery vouchers. Overall it's fun place to take kids.
