A variety of frozen and over salty things you can choose in a sort of smorgasbord style. Now the soup base. This is so salty it's basically a brine solution that removes your ability to taste anything, and I mean anything. To make it spicy they tip an enormous amount of pepper oil into it which makes the whole experience a bit like drinking sea water with added salt and a lot of vegetable oil. Could not have been more disappointed and would have a hard time describing it as anything else other than horrible.

Great little hot pot venue. Soup base was rich and tasty, choice of ingredients was broad and very nicely presented. Price was quite reasonable
Always loved Ma La Tang noodles but Hot Hot Pot is one of the better ones i've been too. Interior is fresh and funky, food display is great and the spicy soup is not too oily compared to the rest. I actually drank all the soup! Definitely recommended to all Ma La Tang noodle lovers to come try!
Although the soup is a bit more bland as compared to other hot pot stores, the soup is not oily and tastes very clean. The way I like it. Variety of seafood, meat, noodles offered. The only downside is that this place isn't quite child friendly as they do not offer high chairs. I've been back a few times and truly enjoy it!
We came to David Hotpot few times ago and today we has received the message from them about the promotion then we come again. Such a good place for having dinner. Excelent foods and services with friendly support from the handsome staff that I dont know his name.
It is a nice place for Malatang fans, prices is reasonable and price matches with its quality. I often visit this restaurant.
Exciting news for malatang soup noodle lovers. Hot Hot Pot is opened at Westfield Doncaster (next to Coles). I personally find it tasty and less oily compared to the other restaurants plus there's no MSG!
An interesting experience. A little confusing to start with but easy to get the hang of designing your own bowl of noodles. The food is great. I'll be back.
