Excellent service and very reasonable prices. Installation was a bit slow but it was worth waiting for. Very happy with the installed curtains which do a great job blocking the light and the two blinds in the kitchen.
We purchased a double roller blind and curtains. There was a complete lack of communication between the quoter and installer. We explained our requirements and the quoter made notes about it all. When they were installed the curtain brackets were put in the completely wrong place so the curtains would not open up fully and the curtains were too high so there was a big gap underneath letting lots of light through and not looking right at all. To top it off the double roller blind was supposed to be both front rolled but the back one was back rolled, so the installer installed the roller blinds protruding a long way from the window recess instead of being recessed in (which is why we ordered both front rolled, so they could be recessed properly). I paid for installation because I thought someone that did it as their job would do a better job than me. I couldn't have been more wrong. To Dollar Curtains Blinds credit they had the installer come back out and fix everything but we ended up having lots of extra holes left behind in a room that we had just renovated. I would have asked they fix the damage they had made but had no confidence they would do the job properly. After this experience I now just order my blinds online and install them myself so the job is done properly and no damage is left behind. Product quality wise, we have no issue with the curtains and blinds apart from the curtain rail which very quickly lost its coating where the hoops slide and now looks very average. Other than that the product quality seems good. If it wasn't for the installation issues I'd recommend them. I think that was just a poor contractor and probably lack of communication which could be avoided by ensuing the installer knows all requirements before he/she starts and watching them like a hawk to ensure things are done as expected.
I dealt with Lil and could not be happier with the professional service I received and in the curtains we ordered. Customer service these days is a dying art and Lil went out of her way and beyond to provide exceptional customer service, very happy, thanks so much Lil.
Huge range of curtains. But Zero customer service. My partner and I went in to buy double roller blinds for our entire house to not even get acknowledged when we were the only people in the store along with 3 staff members. Eventually a lady said "do you need any help" to then run off to answer the phone. We are now going to a blind place in Thomastown. So much for wanting to shop locally. Disappointed.
