Many restaurants around the river side.
A fantastic bridge for getting from like, one side of the Yarra to the other. It's amazing! And on New Years eve, it's like an amazing place to take selfies with like the fire works.
Beautiful piece of architecture. The view at night is spectacular. You can see the bridge buzzing with kids skating, people of all age groups cycling, running full of energy.
The Seafarers Bridge is a footbridge that spans the western section of the city’s Yarra River and connects South Warf on the south bank (Melbourne Convention Centre side) of the Yarra with the promenade on the north bank (Seafarers Mission/Docklands side) of the Yarra. The bridge takes its structural point of reference from the sail rig of a Chinese junk and is formed of compression (elliptical) arches arranged in two groups – three small arches on the north side and four on the south side. This gives this bridge a very unique aesthetic architectural appearance. The bridge has become a popular link between the Docklands and Melbourne’s Southbank.
This foot path bridge is a lovely display of architecture. It successfully spans the Yarra river and provides a less stressful way to cross. However, watch out for the bike riders. They act as if they own the thing.
Really interesting looking bridge that goes over the Yarra River. Its located on the South Wharf area by the DFO. It is hard to miss since you can see it from most places along the river.
Take a walk over this beautiful bridge!
