I've been to about 6 different laundrettes in my life - admittedly all in Melbourne. This laundrette works differently to every other laundrette I've ever been to. The lady at the desk seemed very grumpy with me for simply needing clear instruction on what to do. There are no signs in this laundrette. There is absolutely nothing to tell you what the prices are or what to do. Only a grumpy person at the desk who can't be bothered explaining it to you, seemingly. The machines have no where to put your laundry liquid or powder in so you have to pour them directly on your clothes. This goes against manufacturer's instructions the vast majority of the time. Yes the lady did have to repeat herself once to me however when I've worked in customer service you often have to repeat yourself eight times. I'm still not allowed to sound grumpy! Save yourself the trouble. Skip this one.
I am thankful to this company for taking care of my clothes and making them durable. For me they are the best dry cleaners in Dickson. Thank you for helping me out and allowing a lustrous appeal in my clothes.
My first time here and i came in at 3.20 on a saturday arvo, there arent many laundromats in canberra and i wamted to dry sheets on a rainy day. I was met with 'you wont have time, its a 35 to 40 min cycle'...which meant there was time but they just didnt want me hanging around close to shutting time. Not a heaps nice community feeling, i hope i can find a laundromat somewhere around that cares for their customers.
Being a father to an energetic 3 year old boy does not come without its costs. Getting dirt on my trousers and t-shirts had become a part and parcel of our weekends. At some point I grew weary of having to repurpose my favourite t-shirts to wear out, for indoor wear, because after the sheer number of times I threw it in the laundry basket, most of them lost their lustre. With Dickson Co-Op Laundry on my side though, I never had to look back again on behaving extra rambunctious in the sand-pit with my little tyke! Stains be gone! Thanks, Dickson Laundry!”
The happiness over being the maid of honour at my bestie Karen’s wedding dissipated pretty much after the cake-smearing session. The red velvet cake I came to cherish so much did not look good dripping crumbs off my corset!
